Zika is a virus. Known as, Congenital Zika Syndrome- CZS is a group of birth defects associated with Zika infection during pregnancy. Congenital Zika Syndrome includes birth defects, like microcephaly, and other health and development problems. Babies who were infected with Zika before birth may have damage to their eyes and/or the part of their brain that is responsible for vision, which may affect their visual development.
